Sr. Software Developer
Description

The Software Developer is a member of the Development organization and will work closely with the IT, Product Development and Product Management teams.  This position will be located in Frisco, TX. Will work in the office. Must have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications
  • Work with Support and development team to track down and fix issues in the applications
  • Maintain and enhance any product based on requirements
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and provide mentoring to associate software engineers
  • Able to communicate with Product Managers to work through and issues that need to be fixed within the system
  • Make deadlines for scheduled releases
  • Any other duties asked related to IT/Development
  • Occasionally support customers
Qualifications
  • 5+ years professional experience in software development roles
  • 4+ years of experience working with MS SQL Server
  • 5+ years of C# experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing ASP.NET Web Forms applications (.NET 4.5/4.0/3.5)
  • 4+ years of Entity Framework experience
  • jQuery experience a plus

Intermediate Angular/Web API developer
Description

The Software Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of one of SuccessEd’s software products. The role is an intermediate level full-stack, Angular 4+, Web API, and SQL Server developer.

Responsibilities

The Development organization plays a vitally important role at SuccessEd.  The goals of the organization are to enhance the long-term profitability and reputation of SuccessEd through:

  • Creation of high-quality software products that improve the efficiency of our customers
  • Rapid response and remediation of product bugs identified by Customer Support and our customers
  • Timely and accurate communication to VP of IT and any coordinating staff regarding issue resolution and project status
  • On-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality software products

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in an Agile environment with Management, Product Managers/Owners, Senior Business Analyst, Senior Architect, fellow software developers, and Quality Assurance to define user story requirements and deliver quality solutions based upon requirements.
  • Write, design, code, test, implement, debug, and validate software solutions and features in collaboration with fellow software developers.
  • Document design decisions, track changes to user stories and tasks, and document code changes.  Perform code reviews and receive code reviews.
  • Manage work assignments to meet deadlines and alert team to any timeline risks.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Overall software development experience (4+ years)
  • Angular 4 or higher (2+ years) (Angular 6+ preferred)
  • RxJS in an Angular environment (2+ years)
  • Typescript (2+ years)
  • NodeJS and NPM (2+ years)
  • JavaScript (2+ years)
  • HTML/HTML5 and CSS/CSS3 (2+ years)
  • C# (2+ years)
  • .NET Framework 4 or higher (2+ years)
  • ASP.NET MVC 4 or higher (2+ years)
  • Relational database (2+ years) (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)

Inside Sales Representative
Description
The Inside Sales Representative is a member of the Sales organization and is primarily responsible for driving new business by:
  • Contacting potential customers–processing inbound leads and outbound prospecting
  • Making a significant number of these potential customer contacts each day–operating at a “high velocity”
  • Leveraging qualifying techniques to manage and advance the sales pipeline
  • Managing and scheduling product demonstrations via webinar
  • Preparing quotes
  • Managing the sales process to successful close
Responsibilities
  • Reliably achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Generate new business by cultivating and mining opportunities from conception to close
  • Heavy emphasis on learning SuccessEd products and the ability to effectively communicate how these solutions align to our customer’s needs
  • Maintain accurate and up to date account information and activities within SuccessEd’s customer relationship management (CRM) system
Qualifications
  • Self- motivated with an unwavering positive attitude and strong history of sales performance
  • Experience in the public education space, preferably in the area of Special Programs
  • The ability to problem solve without hand holding
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience selling SaaS type of offering (not required)
