Market Leading Software teams with ESC Region 11

(February 1, 2016 – Frisco, Texas) SuccessEd, the innovative software provider for educators, is proud to announce that Education Service Center Region 11 has selected SE 504 as the software solution to best manage the Section 504 programs of their member districts and charter schools.  The award was announced on January 20, 2016.

“We could not be more excited about the opportunity to partner with Region 11,” says Jim Bridges, SuccessEd CEO.  “Several districts in the region were already using our SE 504 product and we look forward to serving even more with the award of this RFP.  We continue to see Section 504 numbers swell around the country and many districts and charter schools are struggling to keep up with the growing compliance and reporting needs.  It is very encouraging to see the service center step in and take a proactive role to help their members address these needs.  And what better way to help than to deliver a software solution built around the universally respected work of Dave Richards and Jose Martín?” added Bridges.

SE 504 from SuccessEd is built upon the expertise of nationally-recognized Section 504 experts David Richards and Jose Martín of the Council of Educators for Students with Disabilities (CESD).  Their forms and the process they facilitate have been used nationally by thousands of districts over many years.  SuccessEd has an exclusive agreement to use these forms in an electronic version.  “We are thrilled with our partnership with SuccessEd and thrilled to see the news of this new agreement with Region 11,” says Jose Martín.  “The growing numbers that we are seeing around the country indicate a heightened awareness of the legal rights and responsibilities arising from the Section 504 amendments to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 2008.  We do not see this growth in numbers slowing down any time soon and we are pleased to be part of a solution within Region 11 that helps manage the critically important compliance and reporting needs of the districts.”

“The Education Service Center Region11 is pleased to be the first Education Service Center in Texas to partner with SuccessEd,” says Maria Embrey, Educational Consultant for Section 504, Dyslexia, SPED Early Childhood, of Region 11.  “The SuccessEd Section 504 Software Solution can do much more than assist district and charter schools with Federal Law compliance. It can also be utilized to customize a student’s education by identifying their learning needs and monitoring their progress toward academic success. This is especially critical with students being served under Section 504,” “After considering all of the other vendors who submitted proposals, SuccessEd’s SE 504 was clearly a superior product and made our decision to partner with them an easy one.”  added Embrey.

Embrey continued, saying, “The mission of ESC Region 11 is to provide quality solutions that build the capacity of learning communities.  SE 504 from SuccessEd will help us advance this mission in the more than 75 public school districts and over 50 charter campuses that we serve.  I am excited about this new program and look forward to working with our LEAs to roll out SE 504 across the region.”

SE 504 was first launched by SuccessEd in the fall of 2012, and is now being used by thousands of educators around the country.
